A wife who refuses to work and has to be taken care of financially is no different than the man children who dont clean or take care of the house and need a mommy to do it for them. That said though having a partner who is completely dependent on you is kinda gross and cringe. I dont live in a rural area per se but its definitely a lot smaller than any major cities. But I also dont live on the west or east coast where things are much more expensive. My wife only works to pay for luxuries shed like and to make sure our savings has a cushion for unforseen crisis. My income covers all our bills and a mortgage each month with a few bucks to spare. ot bringing home even that much income (just shy of a grand a month). Where I live Im able to support my family and my wife with my income alone and Im. That is also depending on where you are living in the country.
